SSD upgrades
Turn your slow computer into a fast one
Switching to an SSD is the most cost-effective upgrade you can make on a computer that has a few years on it. Professional installation with data cloning included.
- ✓ Up to 5 times faster boot
- ✓ Data cloned with nothing lost
- ✓ On-site service across Panama
Why switch to an SSD?
If your computer is more than 4 years old and still runs a mechanical drive (HDD), an SSD gives it back the working life you thought it had lost.
Up to 5x faster
Your computer boots in seconds instead of minutes. Programs open instantly.
Silent and rugged
No moving parts. It makes no noise and stands up much better to knocks in a portable laptop.
Less battery drain
In laptops, SSDs use less power than mechanical drives. More hours per charge.
Your data untouched
We clone your current drive onto the new SSD. You lose no files, programs or settings.
HDD vs SSD: the real difference
Think of the difference between hunting for a book in a physical library and finding it digitally. That is the difference.
Mechanical drive (HDD)
- 🐢 Windows boot: 1–3 minutes
- 🐢 Programs open slowly
- 🔊 Audible while running
- ⚠ Vulnerable to knocks
- 🔋 Higher battery drain
SSD drive
- ⚡ Windows boot: 10–20 seconds
- ⚡ Programs open instantly
- 🔇 Completely silent
- ✅ Resistant to knocks
- 🔋 Low power consumption

Does a bigger SSD make the computer faster?
No. Your computer gets faster because you moved from a mechanical drive (HDD) to an SSD, not because of the SSD’s capacity. A 250 GB SSD and a 500 GB SSD perform practically the same in everyday use.
The difference is the space available. Choosing more capacity simply lets you work more comfortably without worrying about running out of storage.
Frequently asked questions
Is my computer compatible with an SSD? ▾
Most laptops and desktops built after 2010 are compatible with an SSD. If you are unsure, send us the model over WhatsApp and we will confirm quickly at no cost.
Will I lose my files when the drive is replaced? ▾
No. We run a cloning process that copies your whole system onto the new SSD. You keep Windows, programs, files and settings exactly as they are.
How long does the installation take? ▾
The full process takes between 2 and 4 hours, depending on the size and condition of the current drive. Most of that is the cloning, which runs automatically.
Does the SSD price include installation? ▾
Yes. The service includes professional installation, data cloning and full setup, so your machine is ready to use from the moment you get it back.
Do you come to me or do I bring the machine in? ▾
Both are available. We can arrange pickup and delivery, or do the installation on site depending on the type of machine.
What improvement will I actually notice? ▾
The change is immediate. Your computer starts faster, programs open in seconds and the whole system feels far more responsive.
Which SSD brands do you install? ▾
We work with well-known brands such as Kingston, Samsung, Crucial and Western Digital. We always tell you the exact model before installing.
What happens to my old drive? ▾
We give it back to you. You can use it as a backup, put it in an external enclosure, or keep it as an extra copy of your data.
Is there a warranty? ▾
Yes. The SSD carries the manufacturer’s warranty (normally 3 to 5 years) and our installation carries a functionality warranty.
