2048 px is the one to pick for high-quality printing (posters, flyers).

With a logo, error correction rises to H so the code still scans.

How it works

18 ready-made presets

Pick the destination platform — WhatsApp, Instagram, WiFi, whatever — and just type the data. The tool builds the exact format each one expects, which is precisely where people slip: a phone number with dashes in a tel:, an extra @ on Instagram, an unescaped semicolon in a network name.

A central logo that does not break scanning

When you pick a platform preset, its logo goes in the centre and error correction rises to H on its own. We measured it with two independent decoders over six real payloads, covering 0 to 35 % of the width: at 22 %, which is what the logo takes, every case still reads.

Frames made for printing

Five frames with editable text and colour, drawn on the same canvas as the code. For flyers, shop windows, business cards or a counter sign.

It never leaves your device

The code is generated in your browser. Neither the content nor the colours nor your WiFi password are sent to any server. You can check it with dev tools (F12 → Network): you will not see a single outgoing request while generating.

If you are going to print the code inside a document, compress PDF keeps the file light without losing definition.

Frequently asked questions

Are QR codes with a logo still scannable? ▾

Yes. Adding a logo pushes error correction to H, which lets the code be rebuilt even when part of it is covered. The logo takes 22 % of the width. We checked it by covering the centre from 0 to 35 % with two independent decoders and six different payloads: it still reads at 35 %, so 22 % has plenty of margin.

Where do the brand logos come from? ▾

From Simple Icons, a collection published under CC0 with the official platform logotypes. It is the same source most QR generators use. LinkedIn is the exception: Simple Icons removed it from the collection, so that preset uses a neutral icon instead of the logotype.

Can I use my own logo instead of the official one? ▾

Not in this version. The available logos are those of the platforms included in the presets. If you need your own, write to us and we will consider it for a future version.

What size should I use for printing? ▾

For digital use — social, email, screens — 512 px is plenty. For ordinary printing such as flyers or cards, use 1024. For posters or large materials, 2048.

Is what I type saved anywhere? ▾

What you type is remembered in your browser so you do not have to retype it when switching presets, and it goes nowhere else. Our anonymous analytics record which kind of preset was used and whether it carried a logo or a frame; never the number, the message, the network password or any contact detail.

How big should a printed QR be? ▾

The rule of thumb is that the code should measure at least a tenth of the distance it will be scanned from: to read it from two metres, about twenty centimetres. And keep the white margin around it; without it many readers never find the code.
