Frequently asked questions about Pase24
Is it only for large buildings? ▾
No. Pase24 has a Starter plan from a single unit. It is used by everything from 20-apartment buildings to management companies running several properties at once.
Full accounting, or just dues and arrears? ▾
It depends on the building. Many buildings only handle resident billing, arrears and account statements, and that is enough for them. For buildings that need the full double-entry accounting the law requires — receivables and payables, expenses, bank reconciliation, contingency fund and financial reports — there is Accounting (Conta24). A building can start with the basics and add Conta24 when it needs to.
My building already uses Sage 50. Do I have to drop it to use Conta24? ▾
No. Conta24 can run alongside Sage 50: it imports your accounting history so you do not start from scratch, or exports journal entries in a compatible format for your accountant to load into their Sage. Talk to us about which setup suits you.
Is Accounting charged separately? ▾
It can be activated bundled with Pase24 or on its own. Message us and we will put together the setup based on the size of the building and what you already have.
Can I manage several buildings from one account? ▾
Yes, with the Master Admin plan. It is designed for management companies running up to 5 buildings; beyond that, there is an Enterprise plan.
Do residents have to download an app? ▾
There is a mobile app for residents (iOS and Android) with notifications, passes, bookings and account statements. Residents who would rather not install an app can do everything from a browser.
What is automatic access with a rotating QR code? ▾
It is an access mode where the resident opens the door with the QR code on their digital ID card, without a guard. The QR code renews itself automatically so it cannot be reused outside the building. It will be available soon for buildings that install the Pase24 access controller.
Is it available outside Panama? ▾
Today we work with buildings in Panama. If you manage a building in another country and think Pase24 fits, get in touch — we look at each case individually.
